Attorney Peter A. van Houwelingen received his Bachelor's degree in the Social Sciences from Michigan State University, followed by his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Notre Dame. He is licensed to practice in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Indiana.
Mr. van Houwelingen formed Corporate Legal Counsel, Ltd. in 1993 after nine years as corporate counsel for Kimberly Clark Corporation, where he worked primarily in international business transactions, and five years as a corporate attorney for Miles Laboratories, Inc., where he worked in international business and real estate.
Attorney van Houwelingen has expertise in drafting and negotiating almost every type of contract, including service agreements; purchase and sale agreements; leases; shareholder, partnership & LLC operating aggrements; employment agreements; buy-out and buy-sell agreements; joint ventures; marketing agreements; and mergers and acquisitions.
